Is H Pylori the real reason you have gut issues?H pylori is one of those pesky stomach issues. It ranks right up there with SIBO (Small intestine bacterial overgrowth), Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Crones disease. If you have Gut issues it is important to understand all of the above mentioned. The best way to start is by educating yourself. Here are a few summits you can listen to and get a really good over view to lead you in the right direction of healing. Yes, you are the only who has the ability to completely heal yourself. Learn then self-test and find a doctor who specializes when needed. Testing is expensive and often not 100% accurate. Keep that in mind. Sometimes it is better to have a doctor diagnose by symptoms and try different protocols to see which one works to relieve symptoms. Here are two websites I think might help you understand H pylori.
When treating for h pylori there are two schools of thought. By addressing issues with antibiotics or by natural methods. Most of the items that treat H pylori naturally are also used to help with Lyme and so many other bacterial and viral infections and to promote the immune system. With a true understanding, you may be able to find the right products to help you to regain your health. Bone broth has many benefits for gut issues. Almost all supplements and natural remedies are fairly safe except for oregano oil. It is an amazing anti-viral and anti-bacterial however it is strong and should be used with caution. Do not forget to detox appropriately with any treatment. Supplements This is not a complete list of great multi use supplements but it does give you a small sampling of just how supplements work on more than one thing. This will give you a double bang for your buck if you have more than one issue. Understanding your protocols is extremely important. Know what you put in your mouth and why. Read labels. Key. P=parasites, Ba=babesia, M=mold, B=bacteria, F=fungus, V=virus, L=Lyme, Y=yeast, Bio=biofilms Bar=bartonella Me=Metals (including mercury) Bit=bio toxins D=Detox Mastic gum---(B,F) Take on an empty stomach once a day 1g (4 capsules of 250mg) so either first thing in the morning or in the evening 2-4 hours after a meal. Oregano oil— is one of the best natural agents against H. pylori, and it is thought to work by inhibiting the way H. pylori produces chemicals that neutralize acid in their vicinity, allowing them to survive, so it is effectively a natural antibiotic. You can buy capsules or tinctures. Take 15–45mg a day. Garlic* (Bio, B, P, F, Y) is an anti-bacterial and supports NK cells. Garlic has proven effective at cutting through biofilms. (Lyme bacteria has a biofilm to protect it) In other countries, it has also been used for hundreds of years to kill bacteria and parasites. Garlic can be used to help prevent a resurgence or reinfection of Lyme bacteria. Swallowing a few cloves of garlic with water during meals can help cut through the Lyme biofilm, neutralize toxins, and kill the bacteria. Garlic is used for many conditions related to the heart and blood system. It is also used for building the immune system, preventing tick bites, and preventing and treating bacterial and fungal infections. Other uses include treatment of fever, coughs, headache, stomachache, sinus congestion, gout, rheumatism, hemorrhoids, asthma, bronchitis, shortness of breath, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, high blood sugar, and snakebites. It is also used for fighting stress and fatigue, and maintaining healthy liver function. There is a lot of variation among garlic pill products sold for medicinal purposes. The amount of allicin (the active ingredient and the source of garlic’s distinctive odor) depends on the method of preparation. Allicin is unstable, and changes into a different chemical rather quickly. Some manufacturers take advantage of this by aging garlic to make it odorless. Unfortunately, this also reduces the amount of allicin and compromises the effectiveness of the product. Methods that involve crushing the fresh clove release more allicin. Some products have a coating (enteric coating) to protect them against attack by stomach acids. While garlic is a common flavoring in food, some scientists have suggested that it might have a role as a food additive to prevent food poisoning. There is some evidence that fresh garlic, but not aged garlic, can kill certain bacteria such as E. coli. Try crushing a small piece of fresh garlic and taking it like a pill. Dr. Allison Steinbacker a specialist with SIBO states that Allimed not allimax has the highest amount of allicin. Always research your products you use. Licorice root DGL licorice only Chew one or two tablets 20 minutes before a meal. One doctor suggested dosing as 750-1,500 mg/day for 8-16 weeks, which had the best results in reducing ulcers & inflammation. Make sure you take the time to chew the tablet well. Something about the chewing and the production of saliva helps the DGL do its job. It’s meant to stimulate secretin, which protects and coats your stomach’s lining. DGL is best taken on an empty stomach before your meals (DGL) also suppresses H. pylori growth and helps to repair and strengthen the stomach lining. Others recommend taking 500mg–1,500mg a day. Make sure you take the DGL form, since licorice can raise blood pressure if taken in the long term. Probiotics--Acidophilus and Bifidus bacteria slow the growth of H. pylori in six weeks and can even kill it. Probiotics can also significantly reduce side effects and improve the effectiveness of conventional treatment. Here is a great website to start your wellness journey.
